Peak Modern Dance Residencies

Kelley Doherty, a Peak graduate, will return to us from Arizona for the last time to teach a wonderful summer intensive. The last two years that she has taught have been filled with creative and innovative dance concepts that are on the cutting edge of university level dance. We are limiting participation to advanced students only. Students from Sr. Talent, Company and Performance Team are eligible to participate.

July 28th August 1st (10:00-3:00) Cost: $250

10:00-11:30 Modern Technique: This will give students a knowledge of modern concept and body connections necessary to accurately execute movements.

11:30-12:30 Lunch Break: Bring a sack lunch and get ready for a group discussion and video footage.

12:30-2:15 Learning a Production Piece: During this section of the residency students will learn choreography for a performance at the end of the week in the Gray Duchess Theatre.

2:15-3:00 Kelleys Choice: This section is devoted to exploring new concepts that are being explored in the modern field today.
